The Tag Maker
Type an item, a price in your own money and the rate you trust. Out pops a swinging tag in sats that you can copy, queue up on a sheet and print. Cut along the dashes, punch the hole, hang it on a string.
Fresh-picked prices, all in sats
Welcome to the Sat Market, a pretend-it's-Saturday toolkit for people who sell things and people who buy them and would like to talk about both in sats. Make a price tag. Fill a basket. Pick up a few stall-keeper's tricks. It's all free, it's all private, and the kettle is always on.
No prices here but yours. No exchange rates here but yours. You bring the numbers, we bring the crates.
Four tags on the rail, and every one of them opens a door. Give them a nudge and see where they swing you.
Three crates of honest tools. Nothing here knows what a bitcoin costs today, and that is on purpose: you type the numbers you trust, and the stall does the sums.

Ring things up in your money or straight in sats, nudge the quantities and watch the chalkboard tally it. Round the total up for a kind tip, split it between friends, and never squint at a calculator again.
Ten friendly stops for anyone behind a counter: choosing a rate, rounding kindly, coping with a wobbly market day, keeping your wallet safe and your records tidy. There is a tick-off checklist, too.
Try it before you buy it
Give the stall an item, a price and a rate, and a tag swings into view. Whatever you type here carries over to the Tag Maker, so you can keep going there. Your numbers stay in this browser.

Not a lecture, just the four things worth knowing before you hang a tag. Each one is a long-settled fact, not a forecast.
Where does the exchange rate come from? From you. Sat Market has no price feed and never phones home, so the rate you type is the rate it uses. Look it up wherever you trust, type it in, and carry on.
Markets work when the person behind the table and the person in front of it can both see what is going on. So the tools are built for both.
You want tags that are clear, tidy and quick to reprint when your rate changes. Put your item, your price in the money you already think in, and the rate you picked this morning into the Tag Maker. Every tag on your sheet recalculates when the rate does, so one edit refreshes the lot.
Then take a stroll through the Stall Guide for rounding habits, a wobbly-day policy and a set-up checklist.
You want to know what the basket comes to before you reach the till. Add the sats prices you read off the tags, or the prices in your own money, type your rate, and the chalkboard keeps a running total. Round up a little as a thank-you, or split the lot with whoever you came with.
Open the Basket and start with whatever is nearest your hand.
